Abbey College Cambridge Sports, Arts, and Cultural Activities

Abbey College values the importance of sports and arts, offering a variety of extracurricular activities across all its campuses. Students can participate in clubs such as Bowling, Golf, Hiking Club, Drama Club, Art and Design, Journalism, Volunteering Program, Classical Music, Music Performances, Songwriting, STEM Program, Coding Club, and Presentation Skills, among others. The college provides the necessary facilities for these activities, including a basketball court, fitness center, and art studios at Abbey College Manchester.

There are more than 50 exciting clubs managed by both staff and students.

Abbey College Cambridge Accommodation

Abbey College Cambridge offers three different accommodation options: on-campus dormitories, off-campus dormitories, and homestay options.

• Abbey House: Located on-campus, this accommodation is suitable for students aged 13-16. It provides single rooms with private bathrooms and three meals per day.
• Tripos Court: Suitable for students aged 16-21, this accommodation is located just a 5-minute walk from Abbey College Cambridge. It offers single rooms with private bathrooms and three meals per day.
• Orchard House: Suitable for students aged 17 and above, this accommodation is off-campus but within walking distance of the college. It offers single rooms, shared bathrooms, and two meals per day.
• Purbeck House: Located close to the college, this accommodation offers single rooms with private bathrooms and three meals per day.
• Homestay Accommodation: Available for all age groups, providing single rooms with three meals per day. Multiple students can stay with the same family.

With its consistently high academic performance, The Abbey DLD Group of Colleges, particularly Abbey College Cambridge, has earned its place among the UK’s best schools, especially in recent years. In the A Level exams, Abbey College Cambridge students achieved an impressive 71% A* or A grades. Graduates from the college have gone on to attend prestigious universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Kings College London, Imperial College London, Russell Group Universities, and top 50 universities in the UK, as well as universities in the United States, including UCLA.

The number of students taking GCSEs continues to grow, and in 2022, 61% of all GCSE exams taken at Abbey College Cambridge were graded between 9-7 (A**-A).
