School Overview

Wellington College is one of the top private schools in the UK for A Level and IB Diploma programs. It provides co-educational, boarding, and day education for students aged 13 to 18. Established in 1853, the school currently has 1,090 students, of whom 475 are in the Sixth Form. The college is located in Berkshire, set on 400 acres of beautiful parkland, just one hour from central London and only 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport. Wellington College is a well-equipped boarding school. All classrooms feature interactive whiteboards, many with projectors and internet access. The academic buildings include information centers and computer labs. The library is extensive, and the science laboratories are fully equipped with everything required for the curriculum.

Wellington College has 14 boarding houses, all located within the campus and within walking distance of classrooms. All houses are small. Boys and girls live separately. Each house has 2–3 bed rooms and single study apartments. New students are accommodated upon arrival. Students move to different houses after the second year of study. Bathrooms are shared on each floor. Every house has lounges, study areas, and small kitchens. Full-board meals are provided, with the dining hall known for its extensive menu.
