School Overview

Bedales School was founded by John Haden Badley with the aim of creating a humanist structure against the authoritarian system of Victorian state schools. Located in the Hampshire region of England, the school encourages students to question, think differently, and learn from mistakes. At Bedales School, approximately 750 students aged 3–18 are educated, and the school offers a co-educational learning environment. In addition to full boarding, the school also provides day options. About half of the students reside on campus, and around 90–100 students pursue Sixth Form education.
