School Overview

Wrekin College was established in 1880 and is one of the UK’s historic boarding schools. The school offers a co-educational day program as well. Approximately 500 students aged 11–18 study at the school, with one-quarter being boarders. Wrekin College, set on a 104-acre campus, meets the highest global standards and provides students with everything they need for learning, recreation, living, sports, and creativity. Facilities include a new purpose-built Business School, Music School, a fully equipped theatre, dedicated Art and Design Studios, and a new Dance Studio. Excellent facilities for rugby, football, hockey, netball, tennis, squash, athletics, and cricket are available, along with a 25-meter, 6-lane indoor swimming pool, floodlit Astro turf, a large sports hall, and a gymnasium.

Accommodation

All Wrekin College accommodations are conveniently located on the main campus and provide excellent facilities within minutes’ walk. The boarding houses comfortably accommodate around 120 students. Each house offers single or shared rooms, with some rooms having en-suite bathrooms while others share facilities. Male and female students stay in separate houses.
