Bishopstrow College

School Overview

Founded in 2006, Bishopstrow College is an international educational institution offering full boarding throughout the year for students aged 7–17. The school prepares international students for entry into leading boarding schools in the UK and abroad, providing English and academic pathway programs. The programs offer a stimulating and supportive learning environment that guides students through every stage of their intellectual development. Each year, Bishopstrow College welcomes around 80 international students from about 20 different nationalities, fostering a passion for learning and opening the door to new cultures. Although independent of other schools, Bishopstrow College serves as a model for more than 125 leading boarding schools both in the UK and worldwide. Students can attend for a minimum of 1 term and a maximum of 4 terms. Classes are small: English lessons have a maximum of 8 students, while other subjects are taught in groups of up to 12. Teachers are specifically trained in English language teaching. The school is situated on an 8-acre site surrounded by the town of Wiltshire. Its location near beautiful places such as Salisbury and Bath is a great advantage. New teaching and learning facilities include 8 classrooms, a library, a science laboratory, and a computer technology room, all designed to support students.
