Boarding at Roedean is offered in three forms: full, weekly, and flexible. Most students choose full boarding, and over 250 girls stay on campus during weekends, when numerous activities are organised on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Younger pupils share rooms of 2–4, while Sixth Form students (Years 12–13) usually have individual bedrooms. Each floor has an adequate number of showers and bathrooms. The boarding houses have recently undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment. Meals are provided on a full-board basis in a large communal dining hall. Special diets are catered for, with separate options available for Muslim, vegetarian, and Jewish students. Every girl has her own tutor, who is responsible for her safety, academic success, and participation in co-curricular and creative activities.
